Music Tutor

Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview was established in 1880 as a Catholic school for boys in the Jesuit tradition. The College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Music Tutor - Brass (Trumpet) to provide private tutorials for student's year 5-12. This is a casual position. There is the opportunity in the future to be considered for roles in Co-Curricular Music Ensembles and our Regis Music Activities Program (Yr5 and 6 instrument tuition groups). Experience with other Brass instruments could be an advantage.
- hold the appropriate qualifications and be an experienced tutor of Brass (Trumpet)
- demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
- demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team
- demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- demonstrate an ability to successfully develop and direct rehearsals and performances
- hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people
