Melbourne, Australia Pinsent Masons Full time

**About Pinsent Masons**

Pinsent Masons is one of the world’s leading law firms, with a rapidly growing presence in Australia built on a reputation for outstanding work for clients and genuine care for its people.

We focus on five key sectors: Advanced Manufacturing & Technology, Energy, Financial Services, Infrastructure and Real Estate. Our practice teams - Finance & Projects, Property, Risk Advisory Services and Transactional Services - work collaboratively across these sectors.

The result is work for blue-chip clients on the full lifecycle of vital projects and transactions that shape markets across the world.

In Australia, we are rapidly growing with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. We are well connected into our global network, which results in rewarding work and unique career opportunities.

Most importantly, we are a purpose and people led law firm.

Our purpose is **to make business work better for people **. That means constantly questioning how the world works and then being bold with our responses.

Our people are what drive this purpose. We want people who bring their own unique experience to the firm, are constantly curious, and who meaningfully connect with their colleagues and clients. In return, we provide an environment where you can drive development, work flexibly and learn fast.

**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an enthusiastic administrator to join our Melbourne office. You will become an integral part of our Legal PA team and provide office and practice group aligned administrative support.

Embracing a team-working approach, this role will provide support to the Legal PA's with administrative tasks, while also collaborating with lawyers and other members of the firm.

In this role you will receive training and mentoring to provide support across varying areas of the business including office administration, relief reception, junior legal PA support, assistance with events, and a range of other tasks.

**Some key duties and responsibilities include**:

- Support the Legal PA team with administrative and overflow tasks
- Act as float support for the Legal PA team when they are on leave, providing assistance to their team of lawyers
- Provide relief reception cover as required
- Provide any on-the-ground office administration support
- With appropriate training, support a small team of junior lawyers with their administrative tasks
- Maintain filing and archive systems
- Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements; prepare and submit expenses

**About you**

To be considered for the role, you will have:

- Some experience with office administration (desirable)
- Good organisational skills and willingness to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills (oral and written)
- A proactive approach and be comfortable taking initiative when faced with new challenge

Due to the nature of the role in-office attendance is required on a full-time basis.

**What makes Pinsent Masons a great place to work?**
- **We have a global reach and a local feel. **With 28 offices and 2000 lawyers operating across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, you'll be exposed to domestic, international and multi-jurisdictional high-profile work, yet be in an office where everyone knows your name.
- **We do things a bit differently. **Legal services are at the core of our business, however we have diversified into other areas providing complimentary services to clients through offerings like Vario flexible services.
- **We like to be flexible. **Our firm is professional and allows you to bring our whole self to work. Dress for your day and in your own style and participate in practices that support your wellbeing, mental wellness and work/life balance so that everyone can thrive at work and at home.
- **We're lots of fun and very inclusive **. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to participate in, and even run, social activities, diversity and inclusion networks, and charitable initiatives
