School Basketball Coach

Melbourne Sports Institute is recruiting Basketball coaches for Inter School Sport Competition for a client school located in Keilor.

The season commences Tuesday April 16 and runs until Saturday July 27.

**PAYMENT / REMUNERATION**:

- Hourly rate is based on individual playing / coaching experience and coaching accreditation.
- Staff will receive a minimum payment of two hours for all shifts.
- Staff are paid for bus travel to away venues with students on Saturday mornings.
- Staff are paid fortnightly and have the potential to take on further coaching opportunities in the surrounding suburbs throughout the year.

**Positions Available**:
Matches are scheduled on a Saturday morning between 7.00am-12.30pm, depending on the weekly fixture. This is determined whether the match is home or away. For all away games, coaches must get the bus with the students to and from Keilor.

**Training Time**:Thursday 3.45pm-5.15pm
**Training Location**:Keilor
**Training Dates**:April 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 29, June 6, 13 (Holidays) July 18, 25.
**Match Time**:Saturday Morning’s (Details Above)
**Match Dates**:April 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1, 15 (Holidays) July 20, 27.

**To be considered for this role, applicants must**:

- Possess or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
- Have a deep understanding of Basketball
- Possess significant experience in either playing or coaching Basketball

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
