Cerdon College Merrylands, is a Catholic secondary girls’ school that was founded by and is educating in the tradition of the Marist Sisters. - Contemporary and authoritative professional knowledge and understanding of the teaching of Science and the factors that influence learning and development, effective pedagogies, assessment and reporting, a wide range of resources, including interactive technologies, and their use in teaching and learning
- Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students needs in order to maximise student learning.
- Exemplary professional practice which includes building effective relationships and managing complex interactions, creating and maintaining engaging and intellectually challenging and safe learning environments, planning, implementing and evaluating rigorous and inclusive learning programs
- Use assessments and constructive feedback to inform teaching and learning and communicating effectively with different audiences using a range of strategies
- Commitment to the continual improvement of their teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional development.

**Qualifications & Accreditation**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Education
- Statements of Service
- Working with Children Check clearance
- Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.
