3D Generalist

Lumination is an immersive technology company on a mission to revolutionise the way we teach, learn and work.

We provide immersive technology solutions to Education, Government, Defence and Enterprise. Our focus is on the use of technology to disrupt the traditional classroom, through immersive reality learning and extended reality training simulations.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the casual 3D Generalist will work across a range of dynamic projects, developing a series of digital assets and showcasing use cases of our technology in a compelling and engaging way.

**A day on the job will see you**:

- Form a crucial part of the software development team and deliver outstanding 3D assets and related visuals
- Be solution oriented with a focus on the end user and our client base
- Utilise a range of design and 3D modelling programs (Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, Adobe suite)
- Work with the wider design team to develop unique immersive virtual reality experiences
- Take complex problems and look to solve them in a unique way, and working with the wider design team to present indicative visuals to customers
- Enjoying a flexible working environment in a fast growing EdTech scale up

**To impress us you’ll need**:

- A portfolio of your past projects to show us what you’ve got
- Degree qualified in a relevant field (e.g. design, 3D modelling) and/or equivalent professional experience
- Highly proficient in a range of design programs (e.g. Blender, Maya, Adobe suite; experience with Unreal Engine or Unity a bonus)
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work cohesively in a team environment
- A strong eye for detail, with the ability to work quickly and accurately
- An adaptable visual style
- The ability to obtain a Working with Children’s Check/s for the state you are working in
