**Why do we need you?**

Hume Leisure is seeking passionate and enthusiastic gym instructors to join our team. Our gym instructor's main objective is to enhance the fitness opportunities of Hume City Council's residents. They're expected to provide exceptional service to all gym users providing gym floor supervision, consultations, program writing and exercise guidance. Positions are available at Broadmeadows Aquatic & Leisure Centre, Sunbury Aquatic & Leisure Centre and SPLASH Aqua Park & Leisure Centre.

**About You**

As a Gym Instructor who is passionate about delivering high-quality services your responsibility/qualifications and expertise will include but not limited to:

- Advanced knowledge of exercise testing, prescription, and rehabilitation.
- Experience and knowledge within the fitness industry.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate with a broad range of customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to interpret the wishes of customers and implement actions required to meet their needs.
- The ability to deliver the highest levels of customer service.
- The ability to work as a team to achieve targets.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate client needs.
- Proficient computer and administrative skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for health and fitness.
- A desire to improve the health of our clients.

**You must have**:

- Level 2 First aid and CPR
- Certificate III in Fitness OR equivalent Fitness Industry Qualification
- Current registration with Fitness Australia/Kinect Australia
