Our team in Brisbane Central are on the lookout for a Full Time Trainee Medical Receptionist to join them in providing the best quality service and care to our patients. As a Trainee, you will be provided with training in areas such as: customer service, data entry, making and registering radiology appointments, billing, managing phone calls, and general administrative duties.

You will be required to work Monday - Friday, with working shifts initially between 8am - 5pm. Paid training is provided to ensure you are set up for a successful career with Lumus.

Initial training (approximately 3 months) will be provided at **Brisbane Private Imaging in Spring Hill** and a few days also at our Head Office on Coronation Drive. Once training is complete, you will be required to fill vacant positions/shifts at **our other sites in Nundah, Chermside and Sandgate.**

**During your training, you will learn to be responsible for all reception duties including**:

- Customer service, care and empathy including greeting patients at the front desk, taking,
- and directing incoming telephone calls.
- Making radiology exam bookings.
- Registering radiology bookings.
- Taking payments after scans have been completed.
- General Clerical Duties.
- Patient record management including patient confidentiality and data entry skills.
- Liaising with other receptionists, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a
- courteous manner.
- Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking.
