Position Summary:
We are looking for a factory Boilermaker to join our skilled on-site team.

The Boilermaker is responsible for the safe and effective operation of company equipment and machines in order to create a range of products that are either final goods to be used in a range of other products.

This role is required to follow plans accurately, follow site safety rules and always work in a safe manner.

Key Requirements:

- Proven experience as boilermaker
- Must be qualified boilermaker
- Hands-on experience in working in the steel industry
- Excellent understanding of fabrication techniques
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
- Proficient in Mig/Tig/Arc welding
- High level of communication
- Adherence to production deadlines and time management
- A high proficiency in reading shop drawings and site marking plans
- Work on-site and factory when required
- Understanding of safe and effective operation of different welding machines and other tools required to conduct job and projects
- Knowledge of applicable safety equipment and safe practices to minimise the risk of injury or damage
- Team player
- Effective communication skills to be able to assist other workers as required
- Must have valid drivers licence and own vehicle

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Boilermaker: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Australian driver's licence (preferred)
- Boilermaker qualification (preferred)
