Picker/packer

**The Produce Wholesaler** is a market leader in the wholesale produce industry based in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast Qld. You would become a member of our team who would work towards supplying Quality Fruit and Vegetables to Chefs all over the Sunshine Coast.

This position would suit someone that likes to get their days work over and done with early in the morning and have the rest of the day to themselves.

**The Picker Packer position involves**:
This position involves working in a cold room picking and packing fruit and vegetable orders for Chefs around the Sunshine Coast.

Loading & unloading trucks

Adhere to all company policies and procedures

**Skills and experience**:
Full Open Driver License with good driving record

Previous Experience in Warehousing including picking/packing, loading/unloading and inventory control is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills.

**Critical aspects of the job include**:
Ability to lift up to 20kg multiple times a shift.

Willingness to work early mornings or evenings. Shifts are 2AM-7AM.

An extensive knowledge and a love for Fruit and Veg

High level of speed and accuracy.

Be willing and able to perform manual tasks including light lifting.

Be able to work as part of team or autonomously

Enjoy meeting hourly performance deadlines

Ability to prioritise tasks and skilled in time management

Current licence and own transportation

Whilst not essential the position is suited to people with experience in a diverse range of fresh produce. Hospitality professionals are invited to apply.

Remuneration inline with Storage Award Rate.

**Salary**: $28.35 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
