IP are currently seeking an experienced and trade qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/Plant Mechanic to work with one of our Perth based civil companies. An opportunity has arisen for a hands on Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to play a key role in the daily service, repair and maintenance of the diverse fleet to ensure that the company’s reliable reputation is maintained and enhanced. This position offers an immediate start, 10 hour days with potential for Saturday work, ute provided. You will be required to carry out various tasks including but not limited to; Diagnosis and fault finding, maintenance and servicing of fleet, including trucks, light vehicles and mobile plant. The successful applicant will be travelling to various sites north & south along with workshop based duties. Working with Caterpila, Bomag & JCB machines.
Effective record keeping through paperwork and computer work as required.
Road testing of vehicles as required.
As well as being capable of doing the above all applicants will need to meet the following criteria;
- Australian trade recognised
- Current Australian Drivers License (HR Preferred
- White Card
- Be looking for a long term Perth based role
- Have experience working JCB, Bomag & CAT equipment
- Own Tools
- Be able to pass a medical and D&A

**Salary**: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- HD Fitter: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
