Compressed Air Alliance is at the forefront of the compressed air industry. We work with manufacturers to enhance the efficiency, reliability and sustainability of their compressed air systems (both demand and supply sides).

**About the Role**

If you are looking to do more than just service compressors, this role may be for you. The Compressed Air Technician will undertake a variety of tasks including:

- compressed air leak and inappropriate use surveys,
- compressed air purity testing,
- site surveys of compressed air systems,
- repairing compressed air systems,
- identifying and rectifying equipment faults,
- installing measurement equipment,
- installing compressed air equipment,
- servicing compressors, dryers and filters.

For the right person, there is the option to get involved in other aspects of the business such as sales and marketing, data analysis, reporting, or project management.

The Compressed Air Technician is a full time role although part time will be considered for the right person. After hours, weekend and public holiday work is required from time to time. Local, regional and interstate travel is part of the role.

You'll primarily operate independently at customer sites throughout Australia, with occasional office duties.

As you will be our front line representative on site you will need to be able to work independently, without supervision and have good customer interaction skills. You will understand site safety requirements and be able to follow directions from your manager and the customer. You also need to be motivated, self-driven, passionate and professional.

**Skills, Qualifications and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Applicant must have the right to work unrestricted in Australia.
- Experience servicing compressors and related equipment
- Willing to travel regularly including travel to regional areas and interstate
- Ability to work on weekends, public holidays and after hours as necessary
- Good mechanical and electrical sense
- Technical aptitude
- Good on the tools
- Able to think outside the square when it comes to fault finding. Analytical thinking
- Able to work unsupervised to a high standard
- Professional presentation and attitude
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Good customer service skills and ability to deal directly with our customers
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- NSW drivers licence (class C)
- Good time management

**Desirable**:

- Trade qualifications - mechanic, fitter, electrician, refrigeration, or similar
- Experience working on manufacturing sites
- Restricted Electrical license, Confined Space Certificate, EWP (Scissor and or Boom Lift) licence, Working at Heights licence, Confined Space licence
