About the role

To maintain a clean and hygienic environment of the kitchen, café, bathrooms, foyer, office, worship hall and meeting room of the Tweed Centre in line with the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.

You will successfully
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, bathrooms, common areas are maintained for the health and wellbeing of clients and staff.
- Ensure chemicals and other domestic products are stored safely and securely to meet the relevant MSDS guidelines & used in accordance with product guidelines.
- Notify Office Administrator when cleaning products are requiring replacement.

This is a part-time (6hrs per week), permanent position located in Tweed Heads, QLD.

You will have
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Hygiene and Cleaning materials and methods
- Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) regulations and storage of chemicals
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role
- Physical fitness and energy required to respond to overall work demands.
