**About the role**

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Payroll Officer to join our payroll team. This is an exciting opportunity with a reputable brand and will set you up for success in future roles. This role will suit someone early in their payroll/admin career looking to grow within a global business.

You will be assist the Payroll Team in the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for our Australian and New Zealand business. Starting immediately, the role is a full-time, 12-month contract offering a flexible work from home / office hybrid arrangement.

The role is based out of Clayton and is a brilliant platform that will nurture your career.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide end to end payroll services.
- Process weekly and monthly timesheets
- Support leave calculations.
- Process new starters, terminations, and transfers
- Support the payroll team in managing the day-to-day administration of the payroll function including monitoring of the Payroll inbox and checking of processed data entries.
- Assist with payroll queries and respond within required timelines.

**Skills & Experience**
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll within a medium/large sized payroll environment. New Zealand Payroll experience will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of relevant employment and tax legislation
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in SAP or other Success Factors is preferable
- Excellent communication skills
