**ROLE OVERVIEW**:
**About the Role**

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Caretaker who is excited to join Seasons Living and help us ensure a beautifully presented and well maintained community for our senior residents to live safely and happily. This is a live-in role, with total package including free quality accommodation and a salary that covers all hours worked, including public holidays and emergencies. We are seeking a “people person” who can build a strong rapport with residents and who is confident and capable of the day-to-day ‘hands on’ work required.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Undertake general maintenance and repairs of the community.
- Maintain cleanliness, functionality and orderly presentation of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and other public spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Remove all trash, garbage and ensure that all areas are properly sanitized.
- Perform routine gardening tasks such as watering, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, mulching and fertilizing throughout the community and external areas.
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are readily available and stocks maintained.
- Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met, including WHS.
- Maintain fire and safety alarm equipment and implement safety and WHS procedures.
- Manage CCTV, security, and access control.
- Conduct apartment security checks when residents are absent.
- Support the management team with apartment reinstatements, including painting, cleaning, and contractor management.
- Engage and manage external service providers and contractors where required (eg: cleaning, security, electrical, plumbing etc).
- Be on call during working hours to respond to emergency and answer the telephone.
- Provide administration support where required, aiding community operations and compliance.

This is a full-time role, however from time to time you may need to support a 7-day week/24- hour business, taking after hour calls and/or supporting with emergency situations.

**Requirements**:

- Able to live on site
- Current Police check
- Current Drivers Licence
- Senior first aid certificate and CPR
- Hold unrestricted Australian working rights
