We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic team. As a Draftsman, you will play a critical role in turning concepts, designs, and specifications into accurate technical drawings and plans. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that the projects meet their requirements and are delivered on time.

Responsibilities:Drafting and Design: Prepare detailed and accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Translate rough sketches, specifications, and ideas into comprehensive drawings.

Documentation: Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date database of drawings, revisions, and related project documents. Ensure that all drawings are appropriately labeled, indexed, and archived.

Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to understand project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into the drawings. Work closely with other draftsmen and project stakeholders to coordinate efforts and streamline the design process.

Quality Assurance: Review and verify all drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to relevant standards and codes. Identify and resolve any potential design issues or discrepancies.

Estimations: Assist in preparing material quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on the provided drawings and specifications.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest drafting technologies, software, and industry trends. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, project managers, and external contractors to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Site Visits: Occasionally visit project sites to gain a better understanding of the scope and requirements. Take accurate measurements and gather relevant data to support the drafting process.

Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Experience: Proven work experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role within the construction, engineering, or architectural industry.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. Knowledge of other drafting software and 3D modeling is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and plans.

Knowledge: Familiarity with construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve design-related issues efficiently.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
