**Structural Engineer - Industrial/Commercial/Residential/Modular**

This is an excellent opportunity for a structural engineer with 2-5 years expereince to join a boutique engineering consultancy who are growing their team in Perth.

With new offices in the CBD, this business has an excellent working culture, team environment and career development opportunities. There is also opportunity to work on interstate projects and support their offices in VIC.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in civil / structural engineering (international degrees to be approved by Engineers Australia)
- 2-5 years post graduate experience in a structural design consultancy
- Familiar with Australian design codes and able to deliver work that is compliant with regulations
- Adequate skills in design and drafting software including Revit, AutoCAD, SpaceGass, Structural Toolkit, Tekla TEDDS and RAPT
- Experience in designing structures in timber, steel and concrete
- Team focused attitude with the ability to work independently
- Good communicator, both verbal and written
- Desire for continues improvement with training and development

**Duties Include**
- Technical Expertise and Quality of Work
- Provide specialist input into structural engineering tasks, including verification of designs
- Seek review of project outcomes from Senior Structural Engineer
- Conduct site inspections to monitor works undertaken and check conditions
- Maintain a knowledge and understanding of trends and technology in structural engineering
- Provide leadership and technical direction for structural engineering elements of projects undertaken by the company
- Undertake structural engineering tasks and provide guidance and leadership to structural drafters, including a high level of accuracy and efficiency according to the company standards of operation
- Ensure all aspects of the quality management system are followed
- Monitor project efficiency by reviewing performance against budget
- Ensure cost effective solutions are achieved by providing technical input and review of output
