**Selection Criteria**:
1. Ability to drive and manouvre Sunbury nd Macedon Ranges Specialist School vehicles to the competency levels and standards required by laws, government regulations and school procedures.

2. Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, solve problens, and work in a team environment.

3. Strong time management skills and ability to meet transport timetables without compromising safety.

4. Ability to sit for protracted periods.

5. Level 2 First Aid and COR as well as a Light Rigid Licence.

**Role**:
The major responsibility will be to drive a Light Rigid (22 seater) bus, picking students up from teir homes, driving them to school and returning them home at the end of the school day

This is a split shift position. The hours are 7am to 9am and 2.45pm - 4.45pm, Monday - Friday

- To operate school bus services in accordance with school rosters in a safe, competent, lawful and timely manner
- Respond to passengers, families, colleagues and members of the general public in a polite courteous manner
- Maintain, clean and tidy buses and adhere to DET procedures in relation to start of day shift sfety inspections and end of shift procedures.
- Ensure that all vehicle faults and maintenance issues are reported in accordance with school procedures.
- Report accidents and/or incidents promptly and in the manner prescribed by the school.
- Maintain appropriate dress standards.
- Comply with reasonable requests to sight current licence and/or Driver Certificate and inform the employer of any illness, medical condition, traffic or criminal offence which may give cause to have your Driver Licence and/or Driver Certificate cancelled or suspended as soon as the condition or office is known.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage as required.
- Familiarise yourself with, maintain knowledge of, and comply with Schoolpolicies and procedures and government regulations relvant to this position.
- Participate in school and DET training and other approrpriate training as required.

Mandatory requirements:
Holder of a valid and current full Vuctorian Drivers Licence eiyh s minimum endorsement of Heavy Vehicle Light Rigid classification (non probationary)
- Meet the requirements and hold a valid Working with Children Employee Certificate
