**About Cranbourne Day Surgery**

The Sterilising Services department at Cranbourne Day Surgery supports reprocessing of RMDs for a busy two theatre unit with surgical specialities such as Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, General Surgery and Colorectal surgery. In addition, we are in the early build stages of a brand new 6 theatre, Day Surgery and Sterilising Service complex at the new Cranbourne Community Hospital which will bring exciting career opportunities for our team. We operate Mon-Fri, 8 hour shifts, as rostered. Hours of operation are 07:30-18:00.

**About the Role**
- Instrument Technician Grade 3 - 4
- Permanent Part Time - 64hrs/FN

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic person to join our Central Sterilising Services Department. Experience is preferred but not a requirement for this role and the right person will be offered an opportunity to develop. With onsite Grade 5 Instrument Technician support on every shift, you will report directly to the Nurse Manager - Cranbourne Day Surgery and Sterilising Services.
- Have a minimum of a Certificate III Sterilising Services
- Have a working knowledge of AS/NZ 4187 and be willing to develop this knowledge further
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and work well in a team environment
- Be highly organised and motivated with the ability to multi task in a busy workplace
- Have attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
