**Finance Manager - Woolworths Facilities Management
We currently have a terrific opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Format & Network Development (FND) team, reporting to the GM Finance - FND. This is a key Financial leadership role with FND, partnering across the Group’s ecosystem both within and outside of finance. The role is a people leadership role and extends to developing a high performing team.

**Key Objectives
- Ownership, financial stewardship and communication of spend across Group stores & sites with respect to R&M, Cleaning, Trolleys, associated above store overheads, together with the support of Energy & Waste ( within W360). This accountability is inclusive of financial budgeting, forecasting, closing the month end and performance reporting.
- Drive financial accountability, cost management and understanding with business partners, aligning spend to the company strategy
- Financial and commercial advice with respect to growth initiatives which could include reimagining the delivery of services to our stores and new business ventures
- Integrate operational drivers to financial performance to support the realisation of overall WFM business goals
- Accurate AOP, store/ site budgeting and forecasting of Opex and Capex spend
- Leading the development of business cases for capex or significant opex investments ,with a data lead, independent and impartial perspective. Leadership of relevant Post Implementation Reviews of the relevant capex investments - including driving improvement actions where required and integrating leanings into future business cases
- Leading and mentoring a team of 4 and partner with other peers and teams, who collectively provide data led insights, analysis and forecasting to aid in the delivery of commercial outcomes and strategic initiatives.
- Support key external stakeholder negotiations including potential business partners and unions
- Initiate and lead opportunities to simplify business processes, optimise ways of working to deliver efficient and effective support for our finance team, and business and store teams
- Building and maintaining effective matrix partnerships across the Group including with Director WFM and WFM leadership team, MD 360, Managing Director
- Format Network Development, and other senior leaders and teams in the business.
- Partnering and supporting other teams across the ecosystem including Operations Finance and FP&A team on budgeting and forecasting, month end close, Exco and half year reporting.
- Have an appreciation and understanding of energy demand management initiates and sustainability programs - partnering with W360- Senior Business Analysis.
- Coaching and supporting the development of a high performing and engaged team in their annual and long term career goals

**The day to day
- Partner with the Director - Woolworths Facilities Management (WFM) and WFM Leadership Team, offering commercial and financial advice, contributing to the creation and refinement of strategies and investment proposals, which improve customer and team experiences, while achieving cost optimisation.
- Lead the team in providing analysis and insights into the performance of WFM including communication of key business results for store Repairs & Maintenance, Cleaning and Trolley (WFM programs). Provide support and consolidate reporting to include Energy, Waste & Recycling (within W360).
- lead the finance stewardship of ~ $0.9b of spend across opex and capital spend, from budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and tracking of benefit realisation of investments, influencing actions to achieve opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead the continued transformation of financial operations supporting WFM, including automation and process improvement for our business and store teams
- Partner with and presenting to senior stakeholders including MD - Format & Network Development, MD -Supermarkets, FND Leadership team, Finance Director - Food
