**About the Role**:
D.I.S.E offers a fulfilling, life-enriching experience in mentoring and supporting people with disabilities. We prioritize developing our participants' goals and the relationships between support workers and participants. We believe it's more than just assigning a worker to a participant; it's about finding a true connection between a participant and a support worker who will enjoy spending time together.

Working with D.I.S.E, you'll help people with disabilities achieve their goals, work toward independent living, and engage proactively within their communities through a range of support services, including:

- Assistance to Social and Community Participation: Enabling participants to engage in community, social, and recreational activities.
- In-Home Support: Assisting with domestic duties, routines, cooking, cleaning, and financial skills.
- Transport Services: Safely transporting participants to appointments, school, work, and community activities.
- Assistance with and Development of Daily Living and Life Skills: Helping participants become more independent in daily skills, such as personal care, public transport awareness, financial skills, budgeting, pursuing studies or work, obtaining a driver's license, and more.

**Skills and Experience**:

- A current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- A current National Police Check
- A current driver's license (P1+P2 accepted) and access to a roadworthy vehicle
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or proof of enrolment into a course
- Proof of right to work in Australia. Evidenced by: if Citizen, either birth certificate, citizenship certificate or passport; or if non-Citizen, a copy of passport and visa grant.
