About the role:
We are seeking a values-driven, proactive, and experienced senior Case Manager at The Trafficking and Slavery Safe House with extensive experience in supporting people with complex needs.

The Trafficking and Slavery Safe House team works collaboratively with a person-centred, trauma-informed, and holistic approach to ensure the best outcome for all who seek our assistance. The Case Manager offers appropriate and high-quality support to individuals who are identified to have experienced or be at risk of experiencing human trafficking, slavery, and slavery-like practises. This includes referral, program intake and assessment, case planning and goal setting with the aim of supporting participants to maintain their safety, access justice pathways and increase their independence. The position will work collaboratively with the Safe House team and partner agencies to achieve positive client outcomes and provide a comprehensive client-centred service within the values of The Salvation Army.

You will successfully:
- Offer appropriate and high-quality support to individuals impacted by modern slavery, from a client-centred and trauma-informed casework approach.- Effectively manage workload and case load as allocated by the Program Manager- Ensure your practice encourages self-determination and participation of victim survivors engaging with the programs.- Provide case management support to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice.- Conduct ongoing assessment of the client’s issues, needs and circumstances from initial referral and intake to exit.- Devise individual case plans in collaboration with clients and include a range of interventions that address the needs or goals of clients.- Ensure clients are assisted to access support services and establish community supports, and where needed are assisted through advocacy with service providers.- Work collaboratively with other service providers, representing the organisation in relevant network and interagency meetings and working groups as directed.- Participate in Safe House operations such as maintaining cleaning rosters, WHS checks, etc.- Deliver training/presentations about the Safe House programs to partner agencies as requested.- Engage in professional development and participate in regular supervision and reflective practice.- Participate in rostered on-call duties for Trafficking and Slavery Safe House residents in a shared capacity between team members.

You will have:
- Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field OR demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service, and study/development.- Relevant experience in a social service environment- Current full NSW Driver’s license- Working with Children Check- Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment
