Deputy Director of Social Work

About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide high level leadership, strategic direction, and advocacy of the Social Work Department within The Prince Charles Hospital. This includes professional and operational leadership for all social work, social work assistant and clinical assistant staffing of the department across its work areas and responsibility for other allocated portfolios in alignment with Facility, HHS and state-wide initiatives.
About you
- This position reports professionally and operationally to, and deputises for, the Director of Social Work TPCH
- Provide authoritative counsel related to areas of expertise at a State-wide level.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership and management in this multidisciplinary tertiary referral service.
- Responsible for allocated portfolios which can include weekend service, information management, clinical education, social work assistants and safety and quality.
