**Quality System Lead**:

We are currently seeking a **Quality Systems Lead** to support our Defence Base Services contract on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the National Quality System Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and facilitating the implementation of policies, processes, standards and systems for the Defence Base Services Contract and its supply chain. You will lead the implementation of a pro-active quality culture and be fully involved in managing an extensive internal and external audit program, to ensure compliance with specified contract requirements, standards and legislations.

We offer flexible working arrangements, with the option to work at any Defence site in Victoria.

**In addition, you will be doing**:

- Identify potential risks to the business and identify ways to minimise their impact. Assist in the maintenance and ongoing review & maintenance of risk register/s.
- Assist the business in the development of appropriate corrective actions and ensure they are effective and implemented in a timely manner.
- Responsible for facilitating the implementation and ongoing review and maintenance of the policies, processes, standards and systems for the Defence Base Services Contract and its supply chain inclusive of Sub-Contractors.
- Develop, guide and support the implementation of quality systems and processes to achieve business outcomes and facilitate the development and delivery of training on the quality system and the processes and procedures within it.
- Assist with the updating of the Quality Management Plan (QMP) to comply with the requirements of the Ventia Global Management System (GMS) and contractual obligations.
- Schedule, manage and undertake audits (Internal & subcontractor) of systems, processes, procedures and plans.

**About you**:

- Competent certified Auditor.
- Graduate qualifications in Quality or relevant field.
- Knowledge of quality systems and integrated management systems.
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining a quality management system and executing quality management measures.
- Experience with Six Sigma and ICAM training highly regarded.
- An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written, report writing skills supported by analytical & problem-solving skills.

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
