We are actively seeking an experienced CNC Mill and Lathe Setters/Operator to join a dynamic manufacturing team, equipped with state-of-the-art modern CNC machines, inner city location.

You will be working for a leading and proud Australian manufacturer, supplying throughout Australia and across some sixty countries worldwide. With their established brand recognition, this company provides benchmark for design innovation, product excellence, quality, and reliability.

This is a permanent position with the Company, offering a generous salary with overtime.

Primary responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

- Proficiently setting up and operating multiple CNC Mills and Lathes in a high-mix, low-volume batch production environment.
- Skilfully interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Precisely working with both metric and imperial measurements.
- Conducting inspections to ensure that first-off and in-process components adhere to drawing specifications.
- Analysing and interpreting CMM reports to implement necessary adjustments in machine settings.
- Prioritizing the maintenance of product quality while improving productivity and efficiency to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the proper upkeep of machines and work areas.
- Consistently adhering to WHS policies and procedures.
- Trade qualification **(Preferred but not essential).**:

- Extensive experience in CNC setting and operation.
- Mechanical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Fanuc control and the ability to read and interpret NC Codes.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering and machining drawings.
- Competence in using various precision measuring instruments, such as callipers, micrometres, and various types of gauges.
- Capability to set up and operate CMM.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a workshop team with mínimal supervision.
