My client is a reputable and well-established business specializing in premium men's footwear. With a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they offer a wide range of men's styles from casual to formal. Their store has gained a loyal customer base and a reputation for providing exceptional service and products. They are seeking a dynamic Store Manager to join their Eastland team and lead our store to further success.
**About the Role**:
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Sales Leadership: Implementing strategies to achieve sales targets, driving revenue growth, and maximizing profitability. Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.
- Customer Service Excellence: Upholding our commitment to providing outstanding customer service by setting high standards, training staff, and resolving customer queries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring, set performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Inventory Management: Overseeing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory control, and managing merchandise replenishment
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, with attractive displays that effectively showcase your range. Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create impactful displays and maintain brand standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement efficient operational procedures, including cash handling, opening and closing duties, and store maintenance. Monitor and manage store expenses, budgets, and administrative tasks.
**Skills and Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- Retail Management Experience: Proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a retail environment. Demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Experience in training, coaching, and developing staff to achieve their full potential.
- Sales and Results-Oriented: Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Proficient in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.
- Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Ability to build strong customer relationships and resolve issues effectively.
- Organizational and Operational Excellence: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience in inventory management, visual merchandising, and implementing operational procedures.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
