**Client Details**

We are seeking a full-time permanent Internal Auditor for our global Japanese client based in North Sydney.

You will be responsible for performing audits and internal controls as well as developing a new internal control requirement across the organisation.

**Description**

**Your key duties are following but not limited to**:

- Prepare audit reports with recommendations
- Test the effectiveness and efficiency of process level and IT controls in response to J-SOX requirements
- Analyse processes and systems
- Recommend solutions for identified issues to key stakeholders and business units
- Update systems and/or procedures as well as control manuals
- Undertake auditing process across the organisation (NSW and other states)

**Profile**

**In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths**:

- CA or CPA or CIA qualified
- Experience with internal audit within commercial or accounting firm
- Travel required
- Strong stakeholder management skills and organisational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Capable to create and manage internal control manuals that are aligned to best practice and audit standards
- Demonstrate proficiency in updating internal systems and procedures.
- Able to proactively review perceived internal risks and develop actions to reduce or eliminate perceived risks
