Plastic Fabricator

A well-established Plastic Fabrication company with a diverse customer base and location in Chatswood ,Sydney is seeking an experienced Plastic Fabricator or skilled person in a similar occupation (such as _**Sign Fabricator, Cabinet Maker, or Metal Fabricator) **_who can learn and adapt their skills. This is a full-time position. The position is an essential part of a small team where every day brings new challenges with a range of diverse projects.

Allplastics is one of Australia’s leading experienced custom plastic fabricators supplying custom made displays, point of sale components, cut-to-size sheets and a whole range of signage needs such as showcases as well as high end retail fixtures, light boxes etc.

**The role**

This position is for a reliable & motivated individual who has great attention to detail and is well organised. You must have a hands-on approach and the ability to learn and adapt. **Where required, training will be provided for the right applicant.**

This role will see you involved in the custom fabrication of individual client solutions on a day-to-day basis. This may involve locating & selecting the correct stock, setting-up benders, bending, gluing, flame polishing, shaping, cutting on panel saw and hand routers and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and follow job instructions and measure accurately.

- Able to work to deadlines with a flexible approach to work & a willingness to multi-skill.
- Carry out regular machine checks & basic maintenance.
- Carry out regular housekeeping activities in the work area.
- A Forklift licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle is highly desirable but not prerequisite.

We would also provide training on ERP software to log in out of daily jobs using IPAD -calender and job numbers Daily.

You will also need reliable transport to get to and from work & be physically fit with the ability to lift and bend as required.

The hours are 8am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate offered will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
