Gatehouse Operative

A vacancy currently exists for a casual Gatehouse Operative to join the Waste Services team, working at both the Sukhothai.

**About The Role**: The primary purpose of this role is to manage the gatehouse, interacting with members of the public and contractors who come to site, assessing loads to ensure correct disposal fees are applied, providing information and directions, and processing payments. This role is then responsible for accurately receipting incoming monies and balancing daily takings ready for banking. Other duties include some general administration, and maintaining the waste facility gatehouse and surrounds in a clean and tidy state.

**About You**: We are looking for applicants who have the following:

- Strong customer service focus, including well-developed communication skills and the ability to interact positively with people at all levels.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Confident numeracy skills.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Understanding of, or ability to confidently learn, cash handling, receipting and reconciliation.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $51,382.35 - $116,075.31 per year
