We have an exciting opportunity for a **Territory Manager** to join our Cardiac Surgery franchise within our Structural Heart division. This role is based in _Sydney _and covers the New South Wales territory.

The role is primarily responsible for maintaining, growing and servicing our customers which includes medical and nursing teams with a view of maximising customer support, education, sales volumes and growing market share with our surgical valve offerings which includes mechanical heart valves and tissue heart valves.

**The main aspects of this role include**:

- Developing relationships and servicing key customer groups, identifying, maintaining and growing your key customer networks
- Achieving sales targets and increasing market share for your territory as well as providing input to the overall performance of the state
- Managing your stock across all NSW accounts
- Maintaining up to date product knowledge and actively participate in education programs and sales meetings when required
- Assisting with product marketing and product launches
- Providing market feedback on products and activities of alternative suppliers
- Accurate documentation and record keeping

This role may require some on-call and after-hours responsibilities and some rural, interstate and possibly international travel may be required to fulfil your duties and training requirements.

**What you will bring to this role**:

- Tertiary qualifications in nursing, biomedical, medical science or pharmacy is essential
- Experience as a cardiac nurse, anaesthetic technician or radiographer is highly advantageous
- At least 5 years of experience working with patients and within a health care team
- Clinical credibility, honesty and the ability to build and maintain trust with our clinical partners
- The ability to work autonomously and be an agile and supportive team member
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with a passion for education; ability to concisely and clearly articulate technical, clinical and research information
- Understanding of Sales methodology and proven history of sales success is desirable
- Local understanding of the internal procurement and external supply processes would be advantageous
