**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As an experienced Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to clients. Your role will involve using various barbering techniques to cut, style, and groom hair according to clients' preferences and facial features. Additionally, you will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- **Hair Cutting and Styling**: Utilize barbering techniques to cut, trim, and style hair according to clients' requests and preferences. This includes using scissors, clippers, and other tools to achieve desired looks.
- **Shaving and Beard Grooming**: Perform traditional and modern shaving techniques, including straight razor shaves, beard trims, and shaping. Ensure precision and attention to detail to achieve clean and polished results.
- **Consultation**: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences. Provide professional recommendations based on face shape, hair type, and lifestyle to achieve desired outcomes.

**RESPONSIBILITES**:

- **Product Knowledge**: Stay informed about various grooming products, including hair care, styling, and grooming products. Educate clients about product usage and recommend suitable products for their specific hair and skin types.
- **Customer Service**: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients. Listen actively to clients' concerns and preferences, and address any questions or issues promptly and professionally.
- **Sanitation and Hygiene**: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the barber shop, including sanitizing tools and equipment, disinfecting workstations, and following proper sterilization protocols.
- **Appointment Management**: Schedule appointments, manage bookings, and maintain accurate records of client preferences and service history. Ensure timely service delivery and minimize wait times for clients.
- **Trend Awareness**: Stay updated on current hair and grooming trends, techniques, and styles. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in the barbering industry.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Formal training and certification in barbering.
- AQF Certificate IV and/or 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in a wide range of barbering techniques, including hair cutting, shaving, and beard grooming.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and provide personalized services.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in hair cutting and styling.
- Knowledge of grooming products and their uses.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation, hygiene, and professionalism.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:
