Our facades team comprises seven graduates, engineers and drafters has a great team culture that prioritises learning and development.

**The Role**
As a Façade Drafter you will play a crucial part in creating detailed technical drawings and documentation for building facades. Using CAD software to produce accurate plans, elevations, and construction details. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and suppliers, ensure compliance with standards, and maintain documentation throughout the design and construction process across Northrop’s clients.

**What we’re looking for?**
- You will be from a consultant, contractor or architectural background with at least 5 years industry experience.
- Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting, architectural technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software,
- AutoCAD (preferred)
- Inventor (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of architectural and construction drawing standards and practices.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to building facades.
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings.
- Understanding of facade components, materials, and systems.
- Communication skills to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving abilities to address design issues and coordinate solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient building practices (preferred).
- Experience with 3D modelling software and visualization tools (preferred).
- An interest in parametric design and modelling is a bonus.
