**About the Company**

Our client is a leading national transportation company, with modern offices locating in the Eagle Farm precinct. Due to an upcoming project, they are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to work in a team of two, doing BAU end-to-end payroll processing.

**About the Role**

As the Payroll Officer, your responsibilities will include
- Ensuring that all time sheets, payroll changes, records and other related material is received prior to close of the pay run.
- Ensure the completion of all key weekly payroll functions and procedures.
- Provide the Payroll Manager with regular updates on relevant payroll issues.
- Ensure that key payroll functions comply with relevant statutory and legislative requirements including timely processing of PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation payments.

**About You**

You must have
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
- A high level of confidentiality.
- Sound skills in MS Office.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and capacity to problem solve.
