**About the role**:
A highly rewarding opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Manager VDSS (VET Delivery Secondary Schools)

The Manager VDSS (VET Delivery Secondary Schools) will be providing outstanding leadership and management of Box Hill VDSS programs to build Box Hill Institute’s reputation as an industry leader of training for secondary school students.

You will work collaboratively with faculty’s to implement the VDSS strategy, providing people leadership, and exercising sound financial management to ensure program profitability, sustainability and customer attraction, including an ability to effectively communicate with a range of stakeholders internal and external including but not limited to local LLENS, secondary schools, parents, employers, all faculties and support teams at Box Hill Institute.

A key aspect of the role will be the development of key offerings of VDSS programs and manage the VDSS process from course promotion through to course completion; the lifecycle of the secondary school students.

As the Manager VDSS, your role will be to ensure that programs are innovative, high quality and highly respected within the community. You will also have the opportunity to present at various forums and work collaboratively with internal BHI stakeholders such as our Student Experience and Educational Quality teams. **About You**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- A tertiary qualification in Education or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing vocational teaching programs including VDSS
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a broad range of administrative requirements that support the programs, including high-level administration, technology and organisation skills
- High-level ability to solve problems - seeking relevant information, liaising with stakeholders, analysing issues and proposing and implementing practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as confidence to present to stakeholders and interested parties
- Demonstrated high-level awareness of and responsiveness to people from a broad range of diverse backgrounds and emotional contexts
- A practical understanding in disability legislation, including reasonable adjustments, negotiating skills and organisational awareness
