The HOBAN Adelaide team are actively sourcing an experienced Data Migration Manager to assist with an immediate start assignment with a fast-paced South Australian State Government Agency. Whilst this position is initially a 12-month assignment, there is the possibility of extension.

The Data Migration Manager will undertake a key role in the Finance Reform Program (FRP) being led by Shared Services SA to replace the Government's main Financial Management System (FMS), Masterpiece. The program of work includes the procurement of a new FMS, design of standardised business processes leveraging industry leading practices and out-of-the-box functionality, design and development of integrations, testing and deployment of the new system across a wide range of government agencies and significant change management and stakeholder engagement activities.

**Special Conditions**
- A current National Police Certificate obtained within the past 12 months is essential
- The position will be based at both Port Adelaide and the CBD
- Contract term is up to 12 months with the possibility of extension
- Remuneration will be negotiated based on skillset

**Requirements of the Role**
- Ensure data migration/data conversion strategy is aligned across business units and key stakeholders;
- Work with process owners to ensure all business scenarios have been considered in the development of the data migration/data conversion strategy;

- Work with the Data Migration team in defining the detailed mappings between legacy source systems and the new FMS;
- Work with the Data Migration team in defining the appropriate data migration method for each object, including the identification of FMS interfaces that can be used for the data load;
- Facilitate resolution of key business decisions, mitigation of major risks and closure of critical issues surrounding the data migration/data conversion effort;
- Provide oversight to ensure the data migration/data conversion team and process owners are successfully meeting project toll gates for entry and exit criteria of data migration/data conversion rehearsals/mocks;
- Work with Business leaders to ensure there are adequate business resources assigned to the data migration effort during testing activities to validate converted data and reconcile results; and
- Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users and team members.
