**The Role**

**The Day to Day**
- Receive and register client samples in LIMS system
- Support sample preparation team in managing and preparing samples
- Routine laboratory analysis (e.g. pH, Brix and Water activity).
- Compile and maintain data and other documentation
- Maintain sample retention stores.
- Ensure work area and equipment are kept safe, neat and clean

**The Essentials**
- A science background; knowledge of chemistry and chemicals
- A team player who enjoys contributing to group success
- The capacity to perform well in a busy, client-focused environment
- Good numeracy and computer literacy
- Strong keyboard skills, speed and accuracy
- Effective interactive and communication skills
- Well-organised and closely attentive to detail
- A complete commitment to workplace safety
- Be willing to work reasonable paid overtime when required.
