Hseq Manager

My client is a 'fine chemicals company'; leaders in the manufacture of printing inks, organic pigments and PPS compounds globally. They seek to employ a HSEQ Manager with relevant experience.

**About you**:

- An experienced HSEQ Manager (5 years min.)
- Previous experience in conducting audits - internal & external.
- Ideally, qualifications gained in a Chemical Engineering discipline.
- Highly developed written & verbal English skills.
- A consultative influencer and collaborator.
- Happy to travel when/if required.
- Comfortable in driving meetings regarding HS&E.
- Strong experience in identifying hazards, evaluating risks and implementing appropriate control measures.

**What you will be doing**:

- Implementing and managing the ISO 9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 quality systems.
- Influencing and building a positive safety culture throughout the plant.
- Working closely with various HSE stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region.
- Ensuring all activities comply with HSE legislation.
- Planning and implementing HSEQ processes, policies and systems.
- Providing the leadership required to implement changes.
- Ensuring ongoing training, awareness and communication in consultation with stakeholders.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and inspections.
- Developing and delivering safety communications - toolbox meetings, EHS alerts, educational posters, etc.
- Other duties in consultation and as requested by management.
- Reporting to the COO.
