**Traffic Control Room Officer**:

Ventia are seeking a Traffic Control Room Officer who is responsible for managing Toowoomba Second Range Crossing safe and efficient flow of traffic on a continuous 24/7 basis. The role is responsible for achieving the required operation contractual standards in relation to incident management, lane availability and system availability.
- Manage Toowoomba Second Range Crossing safe and efficient flow of traffic on a continuous 24/7 basis
- Providing safe lane availability to motorist
- Providing safe and effective incident management services across the network with rapid detection and effective response
- Participate in emergency management exercises as required

**What’s on offer**
- This full time permanent position is located in Cranley within the Toowoomba Region.
- Fantastic roster of 4 on, 4 off, 12 hour shifts consisting of both day and nights.
- $90,000 (base + super)
- Full-time permanent position

**About you**
- Have worked in a similar environment (ie shift work 24/7)
- Professional communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with customer relationship management (including liaising with Government authorities)
- Experience working under pressure with the ability to stay calm
- Advanced computer skills
