**Position Summary**

The Retail Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the New Farm Confectionery flagship store. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can manage staff, maintain inventory, and ensure the shop runs smoothly. The Retail Supervisor will also be vital in enhancing sales and customer satisfaction. This role is highly hands-on, requiring your presence in the shop every day, where you will actively engage with customers and deliver exceptional service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Staff Management:_
- Create and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage.
- Approve timesheets and manage leave requests.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to staff members.
- Provide training and support to new and existing employees.
- Operational Duties:_
- Restock shelves and ensure displays are attractive and well-organised.
- Perform regular cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and hygienic shop environment.
- Report on daily and weekly sales performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service:_
- Assist customers with their purchases and provide product recommendations.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform barista duties, including preparing and serving coffee and other beverages.
- Inventory Management:_
- Order stock to ensure an adequate supply of products.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock takes.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
- Event Coordination:_
- Organise and manage occasional pop-up events to promote the brand and increase sales.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Qualifications and Skills_
- Previous experience in retail management or supervision.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Advanced barista experience.
- Proficiency in inventory management.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
