**About the Role**
We require a competent and experienced Fibre Splicer to be part of a team responsible to effectively deliver projects across our fixed line business. This role is a permanent full-time position and offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join our business during a critical period of growth.

**Our Team of Splicers**
Our Splicers are a really talented, close-knit bunch who jump in and help each other out. The culture is excellent The average tenure of the team is around 10 years.

**Responsibilities**
- Jointing and splicing activities
- Working in existing live FTP’s and joints
- Delivering works on live carrier Fibre Networks
- Fault location and rectification
- Preparation of optical fibre and various enclosures
- Terminating large core counts and joint enclosures
- Ability to complete workbooks, fibre testing and commissioning
- Liaise with Project Management team, as required
- Strong focus on delivering consistently high-quality work
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and occasional remote works, when required.

**Skills & Experience**
To be considered for this role you will need to be an Australian Citizen or hold an unrestricted working Visa. You will also be required to undertake a National Police Check. It is also essential that you possess the following skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working on major telecommunications networks (Optus, Telstra, NBN etc)
- Current drivers licence
- Construction Industry White card
- Open Cable License
- Ability to co-ordinate day-to-day work activities and materials
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
