Overview

Working 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, a typical day as a 2IC working in our Brisbane-based warehouse involves: loading and unloading of stock from trucks and containers, picking and packing customer orders and organising outward freight for goods as required.

The opportunity

Working 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, a typical day as a 2IC working in our Brisbane-based warehouse involves: loading and unloading of stock from trucks and containers, picking and packing customer orders and organising outward freight for goods as required.

As well as this, you will be responsible for movement and storage of product, unloading and loading trucks whilst monitoring key performance indicators such as movements, damage and DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time). You will be committed to maintaining and promoting an environment of health and safety within the warehouse and will act as a point of escalation for their peers in the Warehouse team.

You will report in to and work closely with the QLD Warehouse Manager and Supply Chain Lead, who is passionate about training and coaching their team members towards success in their roles.

What we are looking for

You are someone who is passionate about being a team player and chipping in to help the rest of the teams reach their goals. You will have great attention to detail skills to help you with your picking and packing accuracy, as well as a current Forklift Licence so that you can help unload stock from trucks and containers.

Others describe you as someone who is self-motivated, enjoys physical work and learning new skills. You are also someone who can build trusted relationships with customers and suppliers and be able to effectively communicate within the team and to other stakeholders.

A valid driver’s licence will be advantageous as well.
