**About the role**

FHR hires you, as a fulltime employee and we place you out for your practical experience with our clients. We register your training contract and support you while you study at your registered training organisation.

**Duties**
- Ability to work to OH&S regulations
- Identify causes of breakdowns
- Trouble shooting plant equipment
- Perform fabrication duties to carry out repairs for equipment
- Perform welding of all types
- Use of machinery (lathes, mills, grinders, saws, guillotines)
- Use and maintain of workplace tools and equipment
- Reconditioning of equipment
- Fault finding

**Skills & Experience**
- Safety conscious
- Positive attitude towards work, displaying initiative
- A strong interest in learning new skills
- Valid Driver's license
- Completed Pre-Apprenticeship course or relevant industry experience

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
