**About the role**

This is exciting opportunity for someone who has passion for quality and Age Care. Based in our Joondalup Residential Aged Care Home, Domestic Assistants form part of a larger team supporting people living their best lives. Domestic Assistants work across all areas of the residential aged care home and provide a high standard of cleanliness whilst ensuring safe use of equipment and chemicals. You will get the opportunity to create meaningful connections with our residents and grow your passion for quality Aged Care. The role operates with flexible working hours.

**About you**

You are empathetic person with caring nature who can work in the fast-paced environment. Your key experience will include:

- Infection Prevention Control certificate
- Demonstrated experience in a similar
- Good understanding of OHS regulations and Health & Hygiene principles
- Ability to work independently and actively participate as a team member
- Good standard of written and spoken English
- A willingness and ability to embrace the Values and ethical principles of MercyCare
- Understanding of your own safety and others in the workplace
- National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Evidence of COVID and Flu vaccinations (preferred)
