**The role**

Opportunities exist for a Chemistry Allergens level II at our North Melbourne site, this is a full-time role. Analysts at Level IV in Chemistry conduct a wide range of routine and specialised tests and measurements using manual, semi-automated and fully automated techniques, involving a number of steps and complexity. They perform general troubleshooting, maintain instrumentation and machines, interpret test results, perform calculations, and release batches of test results. Your day to day may include.
- Work Safely
- Authorise releasing of results
- releasing batches of results based on analysis of quality assurance data Ability to priorities work in order to meet deadlines
- indicative skills and techniques used at this level include using specialized analytical instruments, chromatography, spectrometric techniques, electrometric techniques, nutrient analysis, ingredient composition and checking for contaminants. Trouble shooting on instruments and method execution
- understanding the principles of tests performed

Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing will be a requirement of working on site.
