HireHippo.io is looking for a Civil Site Supervisor for a leading construction company specializing in civil engineering projects across Australia. **Position Overview**:
The Civil Site Supervisor will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities and maintain quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Site Management**: Supervise all aspects of construction activities on-site, including but not limited to earthworks, concrete works, roadworks, drainage, and utilities installation.

2. **Safety Compliance**: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

3. **Quality Assurance**: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant codes and regulations.

4. **Schedule Management**: Develop and implement construction schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure timely completion of projects according to established timelines.

5. **Resource Allocation**: Coordinate the allocation of labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity and efficiency on-site.

6. **Subcontractor Management**: Supervise subcontractors and vendors, review their work performance, and ensure contractual obligations are met.

7. **Communication**: Maintain regular communication with project managers, engineers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, address concerns, and resolve issues as they arise.

8. **Documentation**: Prepare daily progress reports, inspection reports, and other relevant documentation to track project activities and ensure accurate record-keeping.

9. **Problem-solving**: Identify potential challenges or conflicts on-site and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and keep projects on track.

10. **Team Leadership**: Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting teamwork and collaboration.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Certification in Construction Site Management or related field.

2. Experience working on civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, dams, or infrastructure development.

3. Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in construction.

4. Experience working with various construction methodologies, including traditional and modern techniques.
