The Rural City of Murray Bridge is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, outcomes-driven person to undertake the role of Client Support Officer - Skills Centre program in a full time contract role to 30 June 2024.

**_ The Murraylands Skills Centre is a new project supported by the State Government as a twelve month pilot project _**focusing on regional acute skills shortages which will create a physical space that connects learners, industry, training providers and employers in a collaborative, innovative and proactive way.

Through partnerships that leverage services, resources and expertise to directly benefit a South Australian region, the Skills Centre will:

- Improve access to information, training and supports for learners to increase completions
- Provide early and strong connection with employers
- Make it easier for employers to access talent, and
- Improve transition to employment for graduates

**_ Based in Murray Bridge, SA, the Client Support Officer _**is responsible for providing guidance to community members as they consider and enter into training, ongoing case management along their study journey, and referrals to employers and possible job opportunities.

The position is offered at a Level 5 in accordance with the SAMSOA and Council’s current Enterprise Agreement.

**_ To be successful in this diverse role, ideally you will have:_**
- **_ Higher education qualification in education, training, counselling, social services or similar field_**:

- **_ Demonstrated experience in supporting clients, building and maintaining relationships_**:

- **_ Knowledge in the education sector _**:

- **_Effective time management skills, proven ability to prioritise and deliver_**:

- Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to contribute positively and effectively within a small team environment
- **_ A current drivers license _**
