Radio Technician

Due to extensive growth our client is pursuing dedicated team members with experience in installing and maintaining radio and telecommunications equipment on various hardware. They are an industry leading company looking to fill a senior position.

**About the Role**
The role will have you working in two lines of work; onshore and offshore. You'll be based in Latrobe Valley in the Gippsland Region for onshore work, where you'll be carrying out various technician work and travelling to different sites.

The offshore work will require you to be working on an oil rig off the Victorian coast line. The role will require you to work between both lines of work.

**Working Onshore**
The role will require you to:

- Provide service work and maintenance utilising various radio technologies such as analogue, DMR, TETRA and P25 infrastructure
- Execute all service and maintenance works for radio networks, CCTV, PAGA, telephony and IP networks
- Liaise with clients and have a high level of customer service
- Travel to sites around Gippsland region - work vehicle included.

**Working Offshore**
This aspect of the role will require you to service and maintain similar equipment however you'll be working on an oil rig off the coast, previous experience on radio and microwave links is desirable plus other offshore components.

This work will require you to work 12hr shifts Monday-Friday, however there are attractive rates that comes along with this work which will see your salary increase to $120k-130k.
