New Horizons is recruiting a **Procurement Advisor**, based in **North Ryde Head Office**. We are looking for someone who is a knowledgeable in the procurement space and able to come on board and be part of New Horizons transformation and be part of our long-term strategy to ensure our growth throughout the next decade and beyond.

Reporting to the Category Lead, this is a **Permanent, Full Time **position. Working hours are between 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with flexible starting and finishing times.

**The Day to Day**
- Deliver value through the provision of procurement to support the execution of strategic procurement plan
- Assist the Infrastructure team with the negotiation and management of all Property Leases
- Assist the Infrastructure team with the management of all scheduled maintenance in leased and owned properties
- Provide advice and assistance on relevant procurement and contracts management to ensure compliance
- Identify key suppliers to build partnerships to drive strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract performance
- Seek efficiencies in the procurement process and recommend or introduce initiatives that improve outcomes associated with service delivery and/or management of procurement activities
- Assist with the negotiation of commercial terms
- Engage with all internal stakeholders to agree procurement strategies and pipelines

**Experience required**
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting or other relevant field and industry certifications (i.e. CIPS) or working towards
- Demonstrated experience in category management, procurement, transactional purchasing, tendering and contract management
- Knowledge of contemporary procurement and contract management systems, preferably Coupa, Ariba (SAP), Ellipse etc.
- Able to confidently communicate and work with other staff outside of the immediate team
- Assist the Infrastructure Lead with the preparation and management of RFPs, RFTs and RFQs following internal procedures and best practices
- Ability to respond to short deadlines and operate effectively in an unstructured work environment.
