An exciting and challenging opportunity is now available for a Business Services Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business operations, providing customer service, scheduling and management of staff, and contributing to business growth and success.
The Business Services Manager operates with a high level of autonomy and is expected to display significant initiative, sound judgement, and reliable leadership and management in carrying out the requirements of the position.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support, research and advice to senior management on administrative matters such as staff management, financial planning, facility management and information services
- Developing and implementing administrative, financial and operational procedural statements and guidelines for use by staff in the organisation
- Leading, managing and developing administrative staff to ensure smooth business operations and the provision of accurate and timely information
- Representing the organisation in negotiations, and at conventions, seminars, public hearings and forums, and promoting existing and new programs and policies.
- Collaborate and initiate projects for the leadership team to identify opportunities for improvement and business growth
- Maintaining good client relationships for projects, including prompt problem solving.

**Skills and Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in coordinating the delivery of commercial cleaning projects including client management and contractor coordination
- Excellent customer services and sound oral and written communication skills
- Experience with the management of employees and subcontractors
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
**Additional Information**:
- This position will require frequent travel across the Gold Coast & Brisbane.
- Must be able to work flexible work hours, including nights and weekends when necessary.
**Salary**: $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gold Coast, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Management: 5 years (preferred)
