**Responsibilities**:

- Implement our lesson plans based on student needs and abilities
- Conducting group tutoring lessons and able to manage a classroom environment
- Assess students' progress and abilities and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students
- Create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students

**Skills needed to succeed**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies and resources
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet students' needs
- Resume and,
- A brief statement answering the question: _What do you believe is the most important skill to have as a teacher?_

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree - completed or in progress (preferred)
- 1 year tutoring/teaching experience (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required/able to obtain prior to working)
- Available on Saturdays 2-5pm (other potential teaching days depending on your availability: Fridays 5-8pm)

Part-time hours: 3-8 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Footscray, VIC 3011: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
