**Chapter Lead Risk In Change - Consumer Finance**
**Do work that matters**
As a Chapter Lead Risk In Change, you and your team will be responsible for assessing and managing risks arising from changes to products, processes, systems, regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will work closely with RBS Consumer Finance (CF) stakeholders, build intimate knowledge of CF products and processes, and help to ensure safe delivery of changes aligned with the Group's frameworks and standards.

CF supports CBA customers who need access to credit by offering a range of options including personal, business and corporate credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit and CBA’s buy now pay later (BNPL) StepPay. The CF Line 1 Risk function supports CF crews, including product, credit risk and customer remediation functions, meet our customers’ needs. Our vision is to enable the CF team to make informed risk-reward decisions that deliver better customer outcomes.
**On any given day, you will**:
- Maintain, manage and embed the RiC framework for CF to enable the business to meet its objectives
- Triage initiatives and provide risk advisory
- Lead change risk assessment workshops and provide robust challenge across all change initiatives
- Assess projects' delivered risk to ensure changes and/or updates are appropriately articulated, executed and documented
- Advise CF on design and implementation of controls required to ensure safe delivery of change initiatives to enable better risk and compliance outcomes, including providing guidance and advice to senior leaders
- Lead and coach team members to conduct assessment of delivered risk including identifying and implementing control improvements
- Oversee the effective design of controls for all new and changing processes and operations, and advise stakeholders throughout the implementation process
- Lead a proactive risk and control culture, ensuring embedment with key project stakeholders and business representatives
- Work collaboratively with CF Risk Business Partners and the wider risk team to deliver best practice risk advice across the business
- Actively engage with Organisational Change Management (OCM), impacted stakeholders including control owners, other Line 1 Risk teams and Line 2 Operational Risk and Compliance
- Deliver initiatives and assessments within strict timeframes through effective project management/agile methodology and efficient use of team resources.

- Deep understanding and experience in operational and compliance risks within banking
- Strong reasoning and influencing skills to work with senior stakeholders
- Change risk management experience is highly desirable
- Being able to independently deliver for large projects and initiatives in diverse environments and interact with all levels of stakeholders
- Strong people leadership skills, including expectation setting, coaching, and performance management
